Who Is Moore Than Paper…(The Long Winded Version)
Moore Than Paper was born from the love of all things planner, paper and design related. It the merging of my hand drawings into stickers and layouts, mixed with the strong desire of wanting to find planner peace. I had spent a lengthy span of time trying out planner after planner in all sizes possible. Until finally I was able to put together a custom planner that fit all of my needs and instilled the elements I loved from my favorite planners. The following is my own discovery of what I had come across…
In the beginning, I was mostly using A5 and personal size planners…however, I wasn’t a big fan of the 6 ring binding systems even though I found the A5 size ideal for portability to carry around for on the go without being too small of a layout to work in like the personal size was. These type rings as a binding system overall was not my cup of tea not matter what size binder…I found them cumbersome and annoying to have to take out full sections at times to rearrange for a page or two and never enjoyed the prying open and clamping shut the ring. I also didn’t like how the back pages would end up laying, as they would often bend around the coil part causing the last pages to be curved and warped. I would have to make a conscious effort to make sure all pages were together and not bunched on the back side of the discs each time I opened and went to close the planner for this not to happen.
Finally, I came across the disc bound system and fell instantly in love from the moment I discovered it. I was thrilled at the fact you could pop pages in and out to work on or rearrange with such ease. This to me was a fun and unique system that just made sense. The biggest hangup for me was that I simply did not like the plastic rings which at the time was the majority of what any planner or notebook came in. Back when I stumbled across these discs there were minimum options as far as colors and materials they were made from. Aluminum discs then were available but to me considered more of a luxury item and often hard to come by.
Then there was the Dori or Faux Dori systems that I LOVED but yet not matter how much I tried couldn’t get used to the Travel size. Luckily I was much more please to have found the extra wide Faux Dori size that accommodated an A5 size page notebook. This is where I played around with using both smaller discs and the Faux Dori covers and also worked in some Hobo covers. From there I perfected my layouts to what I needed and came up with and entire system all my own.
This is where the merging of all systems finally came together for me…I wanted to use all of the above and so I did…creating my own style sized layouts and disc systems to cover all aspects I need for it to work.
Through this process, Moore Than Paper was formed. I truly believe my layouts and system really covers all aspect of the features I love most. I feel strongly with how customizable my system is from size, ease of use, layouts and designs, that it could be others perfect fit system as well. I love the fact that my systems and layouts are all interchangeable so that you can utilize all sizes, planners, and notebooks together instead of having to move out of one to change into another for a new look or feel. Over the course of time, I’ve really been able to find my planner peace and feel strongly my versatile and customizable systems will help others find their own planner peace as well.

Working hard…
Know I am a full-time mother and family and God are my number one priorities in my life so please understand this site is years in the making. However 2017, I’ve felt a great push to really get things moving that have been so so strongly weighted on my heart to achieve. This is the year I’ve decided to officially go after them.
To help me get there, I’ve recently hired on a new assistant that has been helping me tremendously with my kiddos and getting things together on the business end of things. I have a million surprises to share with you all for the upcoming year and anxious to let you all in on them. In the meantime, I hope while you’re here that you find some inspiration and are enjoying some time to wind down and relax as you take some time to look around. ?
